Answer: Treatment options Hi! 1540, which is a fractional non-ablative laser used for skin resurfacing and various cosmetic treatments is one option you can explore to address your skin care concerns. I know you mentioned trying microneedling before, however Morpheus8 combines microneedling and RF together. If the scarring is deeper, Morpheus8 is another treatment you can explore. It's an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy. This non-surgical procedure aims to stimulate collagen production, remodel tissue, and tighten skin for a smoother, firmer, and more youthful appearance. It's used on the face, neck, and body to address various concerns like sagging skin, wrinkles, and scars. I've attached two links below that provide additional information about both treatments. If you move forward with either of these treatments, please ensure that you are going to licensed professionals to avoid further scarring or skin damage. CO2RE is also a great option! It's a fractioned CO2 laser used to take off the surface layers of skin to reduce sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles. When the soft skin tissue heals, you will find a bright, new complexion underneath. The CO2RE® laser treatments range from a light skin resurfacing that refreshes the complexion to a deep resurfacing treatment that improves your skin’s overall appearance. Hope this was helpful, and wishing you the best!

Answer: Dents and Craters on the Face – What Skin Laser or Treatment Do I Recommend? When dents or craters appear on the skin without a history of active acne in that area, it's important to assess for underlying causes such as volume loss, prior subclinical inflammation, or even early scarring from past skin trauma. If microneedling hasn’t provided improvement, more intensive resurfacing or regenerative treatments may be appropriate. For texture irregularities like these, fractional ablative lasers—such as CO2 or Er:YAG, often yield the most dramatic results by stimulating collagen remodeling at deeper levels. Another effective option is radiofrequency microneedling (like Morpheus8 or Secret RF), which combines the benefits of microneedling with thermal energy to target skin laxity and depressions more precisely. In some cases, subcision combined with dermal fillers or biostimulants (like Sculptra) can help elevate the depressed areas and restore smoother contours. The right approach often depends on skin type, severity, and distribution of the dents, so a personalized plan is key for best outcomes.
