My wife had her #27 tooth extracted due to a cavity impinging on the nerve, and then an implant placed at the same time. Since the operation, she has had what she describes as a "stretching" pain from the front of her lower jaw to her ear. The pain still bothers her after 3wks. The dentists all claim that the implant looks fine with no signs of infection, and keep prescribing pain meds. She is getting to the point where she can no longer function on the pain meds. Does anyone have any advice?
