There are variety of different types of YAG lasers. Generally speaking, a YAG laser would be good at improving pigmentation, but are less effective at treating moles and freckles. They may have no place in the treatment of moles or freckles depending on your anatomy and the type of laser.I hope this helps

I suggest posting photos, typically low density low level lasers like clear + brilliant, peels, and skin care are best over q switched/pico or yellow lasers in my opinion. Best, Dr. emer.
