After my about 6 sessions, many of hairs have gotten small and fine, but there still those few strands that haven't changed much. Would it be okay to just pluck those? Would it reverse the effect of the IPL for those strands? And if I was to wax the whole area, would it reverse the effect of the IPL on the whole area? Or is the only way to maintain after IPL sessions is to shave?

Answer: Waxing / Plucking after Intense Pulsed Light
You ask a great question. Yes, IPL can decrease hair in the treated area. We do not usually treat men in the lower face in areas where they do not want to chance losing hair. I would not recommend it.
Thanks for your question, but they are doing it wrong! We never use numbing cream when treating vascular issues. Numbing creams tend to constrict the blood vessels that are supposed to be treated with an IPL. I hope this helps.
Yes this is an IPL burn. If you take care of it by keeping your skin hydrated and avoiding any sun exposure over the next week then you will be able to minimize any scarring.
