Is it okay for someone with eczema prone skin to get IPL for hair removal purposes?

I’ve had eczema around my joint areas since I was 4 and now i’m looking at IPL for hair removal purposes. Is it okay do get it done or will my eczema worsen from it?

No, if used appropriately, it should not cause fat loss or atrophy. I recommend combining IPL with microneedling/prp to improve outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
