Can IPL / AFT / BBL cause fat loss / subcutaneous atrophy / dermal and or collagen atrophy?

I would like to know the general consensus in regards to IPL devices causing some or all of the aforementioned complications. If it can reach deep enough to stimulate collagen, can it also cause thermal damage to collagen and elastin and therefore cause dermal atrophy, etc?
