Improving my protruding vermillion border scar? (Photo)

Picture in stripped shirt is my scar 3 weeks after stitch removal . And the rest are currently, 7 months after. 3 steroid shots and my scar has become softer but puffy and also not flat at all. I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow to realign my border but that is all. Please do you have any recommendations on anything to flatten my scar bf not make it puffy. I have hit a wall on injections and it seems as if it has made my scar wider . Please help and if the answer is lasers what laser
