Thank you for your question. Yes. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine your candidacy. Best wishes,
you need a formal ecaluation as skin looseness needs skin removal, liposuction and/or internal heating to get the best results. Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. SculpSure is FDA approved and highly effective in killing fat cells in unwanted areas with fat deposits. The heating energy of the SculpSure laser also causes the production of collagen and elastin, the two necessary building blocks for youthful, healthy skin. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
SculpSure is a body contouring device that helps permanently treat up to 25% of fat in the treated area. Although skin tightening has been observed after a SculpSure treatment, the SculpSure laser is not a skin tightening device. If your main concern is skin laxity, an in person consultation with Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can evaluate you, is best.
While SculpSure may provide some minimal skin tightening, it's main purpose is fat reduction. If loose skin, and not fat reduction, is your main goal, you may want to look at other options for treating this concern.
SculpSure is not designed to deal with loose skin in 60+ people. If your question is what happens after the fat disappears, there are other additional non-invasive things to be done if that turns out to be the case. Do not go into SS with this as a primary goal--you will be disappointed I think
SculpSure does not create loose skin after the procedure. SculpSure is a hyperthermic laser this helps with collagen production, which in turn leaves you with a smooth and firm result. We have had great results on patients of all ages and skin types.
Anytime a SculpSure treatment is done, there is always a chance of soreness. It is completely normal. My patients have told me it feels like they did a great workout and feels like its working. You can lightly massage the area and each day the pain will decrease.
Stable thyroid problems and SculpSure are fine.People with thyroid problems can have pain hypersensitivity so that could be a problem. No medical contraindication to treatment while on thyroid medication.
Thank you for your question. The setting on the SculpSure should dictate any soreness. You and your medical team should develop a treatment plan. Always work with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,
