Sharp Breast Pain and Wobbling of Saline Implant Right After Mammogram

I have had saline implants for over 14 years with no problems. I just had my annual mammogram and during the procedure I felt a sharp pain in my right breast, which has not gone away, three days after. My mammo came back normal. The pain is not constant but is extremely sharp when I bend or jump. The size or appearance of my breast appear have not changed and appear normal, but the implant feels like it is moving more than the other one, and I can feel ripples when I touch it.

I am not aware of silicones creating a more saggy appearance but it is true that they generally have less projection in comparison to similar sized saline implants and perhaps this is what your surgeon is referring to when he/she discusses their use.

Every 1000 cc of water equala 2.2 pounds. Doing the math this means that 400 cc equals slighlty less than 14 ounces (silicone weighs less than water) or .875 pounds. Multiply that by two and it equals 1 and 3/4 pounds or 28 ounces,
