Shallow icepick scars with TCA Cross or Microneedling?

Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Hello and thank you for your question. Microneedling is a great procedure to help improve the appearance of scarring. Typically, patients need 3-5 treatments to start. You will need to do maintenance treatments 1-2 x per year to maintain results. Consider adding platelet rich plasma or PRP to 1 or 2 of your microneedling treatments.
