I’m Asian and have not had any surgery so far so I’m not very sure if my scarring is genetic. I do have a few fresh piercings which have a bump too but because I did not take particular care of this one and assumed it would go down on its own, it’s quite bad. I’ve has the bump for close to 2 years now and nothing else has helped (regular cleaning with saline solution, tea tree oil). I still wear the piercing and would like to keep it.
