I did not have any breakouts prior to the surgery. I am wondering if there is fluids, i.e., puss that is trying to get to get out from under the skin due to the surgery. It lasts 5-7 days and then clears up. This is the third time I am breaking out. My surgeon is treating it as acne. The pimples start as 1 or 2 bumps and within 1 day look like the picture below Not sure if I should go see a dermatologist. This is a definite result of the surgery.

While no one can guarantee whether or not the surgery will exacerbate this, I would think the risk is reasonably low. BUT....I would not proceed unless your neurologist agreed with that.
If you are in good health there's really nothing to take by mouth prior to a facelift. They certainly will not improve the outcome. Check with your own surgeon about his personal preferences.
Nonsurgical treatments such as fillers can help address your concerns, along with a brow or eyelid lift to address sagging lids. Regardless what you do, however, please try to stop smoking as the habit will only make your appearance worse.
