Thank you for your question.  The timing of revision surgery is not based on a timeframe, insomuch as it is more important to see your skin return to normal.  All swelling would need to have resolved and your skin should have softened.  This allows a more confident, predictable, and safe revision result. You should wait 6-12 months before considering a revision. I understand your wish to proceed asap but you need to let your swelling settle. It depends a lot however on what you are looking to revise though and perhaps it would be better to post some photos to have an informed option. There are some instances where revising things sooner than this are appropriate. You need to weigh up the pros and cons with your PS.

can be done sooner but it really depends on what is being needed for the revision.  It certainly makes sense to combine some other procedures while under anesthesia.  As for hot weather, does it really get hot up there?  Your surgeon should be able to tell you how soon you can have this revision as your surgeon is aware of what was done and has the advantage of seeing how well you are healing.

You are right in that it would be good to have all the recovery over before summer, but there is never a problem with waiting too long to do a revision. The problem is always in rushing into it. To get a good result we usually want to see all the stiffness out of the area (called induration). So it really depends on what exactly is the nature of the revision. In the long run it is probably best to follow your surgeon's advice since none of us has examined you or knows the nature of the revision you are contemplating. 

The timing really depends on how you heal and the nature of the revision.  Usually, most minor issues resolve over a few months and it's important to be patient.   But sometimes there is something that is not quite right from the get go and won't get better.  If it is the latter, it is likely reasonable to do a revision at 3 - 4 months. I currently have a patient who recently had a very large fleur de lis tummy tuck and her belly button is clearly off center.  This isn't going to get better and I will revise this early rather than later.  The sooner she is happy, the sooner I am happy!
