BBL is broad-band light that covers an array of wavelengths. To me, none of these are that great for treating aesthetic skin issues because the wavelengths are very high. Most aesthetic skin issues are best targeted in the 500-600 range. IPL (intense pulsed light) targets those ranges much better. A lot of IPLs are in the 600-700 range, but if you can find someone who has an IPL in the 500 range, that will target much more aesthetic needs and discolorations. I just got the InMode Lumecca which is 515 and 580 and the effects of it are better than any BBL or IPL I've seen before. And I've had pretty much every manufacturer at one time or another.
