Hello, I am a 28 white F 145 pounds and 5'4". Does the hairline have to be lowered in forehead reduction surgery? Or can the size simply be reduced by removing skin or something? I am afraid to have my hairline lowered because i am losing a lot of hair and it is gone near my temples where it used to be so im afraid if a doctor tries to lower my hairline, hair may start to grow back where it is currently missing and the doctir will not know this since it is not there

Answer: Based on the photos, you appear to be a suitable candidate for forehead reduction surgery.
Yes it is possible to lower the hairline with surgery, but there will be scar across your hairline. Not sure you can accept that. It fades and hides well over time, but because of the tension in this area, it is possible for the scar to not look so nice too. If it is the frontal bone that is too...
My best guess from the blurry pic is that your frontalis muscle is bunching up. This can be improved with endoscopic browlift to deactivate some muscles and tighten your forehead.
You have a more prominent brow ridge, and round forehead bone (frontal bossing). This is common in Asians and AA. Fat grafting the forehead can soften these without big surgeries.
