Hi! My name is Josh, and I'm hoping to get some advice on what my best course of action would be in achieving a smooth, rejuvenated skin texturenand appearance on my forehead and hopefully between my brows. I have been doing research on this for about 3 years now, and I determind for myself that the croton oil peel would be my best bet and bang for my buck. My reasoning for this is because 1. I want a more permanent solution to my problem. I'm not interested in botox and I would rather avoid the laser route as I know the shelf life is much less than a croton oil peel especially with a good skincare routine afterwards. 2 - I took accutane when I was a kid for my bad acne, while it did solve the acne problem, it ended up destroying my collagen and my elasticity, which made me extremely prone to bad sleep posture, sun damage, and a bad skincare routine. All of which I have been exposed to ovee the years. I stopped accutane when I was 19, I am 35 now. I am asking this question because I was told today by a Doc that I was not candidate for a deep peel, that i should do botox and that I was too young for the type of peel. I was shocked because he is the 1st doc to say i wasn't a candidate based off my photos, and that he wasn't understanding that I want a 1 and done procedure, not botox. Also, most people haven't taken accutane, which has sped up my skin damage, regardless of age, the problem is there. I just want new skin and would appreciate any help. Ty
