Hello, I had a TUBA done 12 years ago and I am wanting the implants removed. I have saline implants above the muscle. I am African American and I am at risk for keloids. Is it possible to do a TUBA explant procedure or will it have to be done under the armpit? Thank you!

If you have an infection associated with your implant that is not improving on antibiotics, then usually implant removal without replacement is required. Because it can take 6 months for it to be safe to be replaced, many women opt to remove the unaffected one so that they have relative symmetry...
The pains that you are reporting may just be nerves firing during the healing process. They should subside and become less frequent as healing progresses. If they do not contact your surgeon for an evaluation.
Best to obtain clarification from your Operating Surgeon. Long standing implants may have created looseness of the skin once they are removed, plus all additional anatomic changes that have occurred in your body over the years, may have residual effect. I would consider possible need for a lift...
