Hi, I am 31 y/o, 5ft, 113lbs. I lost 50lbs last year as a result my breast list the fullness. They look deflated. I wear 34A/B depending on retail store. When I discussed my goals on first consultation, my surgeon recommended 340cc SRX. I decided on SSR on second consultation, since I want some fullness not saggy boobs. My PS was like why not SRX? I explained again he agreed. I’m so nervous though I don’t want fake look either or super high. My width from breast to chest wall 11”
Answer: Implant size and type Dear skanwal89, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast Implants Thank you for your question. Yes they would improve them. Breast implants are medical devices implanted under the breast tissue or chest muscle to increase breast size (augmentation) or to replace breast tissue that has been removed because of cancer or trauma, or that has failed to develop properly because of a severe breast abnormality (reconstruction). The FDA has approved implants for increasing breast size in women, for reconstruction after breast cancer surgery or trauma, and to correct developmental defects. Implants are also approved to correct or improve the result of a previous surgery. The FDA has approved two types of breast implants: saline-filled (salt water solution) and silicone gel-filled. Both have a silicone outer shell and vary in size, shell thickness, shell surface texture, and shape (contour).

Answer: Confused if I should get SSX or SRX implants (Photo) The X profile implants are extra projecting. They deliver greater volume and projection for a given device width. The difference between the two is in the gel fill. The SRX will yield a slightly firmer implant with less give and more shape than the SSX. Try on a profile bra with the two silicone 340cc sizers under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy.

Answer: Lift is most likely needed Unfortunately, your photographs do not appear. However, if you lost 50 lbs, it is most likely you will need a breast lift. Depending on your appearance, it may be possible to only do a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants or fat transfers can be placed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
