The short answer to your question is that subcision is certainly used to elevate all kinds of indented, tethered scars and skin indentations from all causes, including prior infection (like chickenpox), inflammation (like acne), surgery or trauma. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture.
