My rhinoplasty was mostly to smooth out a dorsal hump. Right before surgery doctor asked if I would like the tip lifted slightly, I agreed "a tiny bit". I feel like my nose looks shorter now after the tip was lifted. I don't love the overall result and I feel like the lifting of the tip is the culprit of this as it seems to have changed the angle of projection outwards from my face. I no longer like the naso-labial angle either. I can't work out what has gone wrong here?

Hi, thank you for the question. My recommendation is the use cartilage rathen than fat or etc..Most suitable material (your own cartilage) for you. Regards. Dr Cem Altindag Ist.-TR
The skin covering the nose can continue to shrink over the underlying bone and cartilage for many years. At the same time, the scarring forces inside the nose can cause changes in the contour as well. These can often be improved with filler being placed into any irregularities.
