What can I do to correct my asymmetrical lips? (photo)

Question

So my mouth slightly deviates to one side but that's because of an unfixable jaw issue. My lips however take this to another level, they sit off centre from the rest of my mouth too. When I smile, the line of my mouth is fine and looks quite symmetrical to my face. HOWEVER, my lips themselves want to stick to one side. I have to consciously pull the facial muscles on the lesser side to try to get a more even lip. Is there a way to correct this?

Thank you for your question.  Of course an examination in person by an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist is required to properly answer your question.

That said if your lip asymmetry cannot be corrected by correction of your jaw issues, that a soft tissue filler may be able to evert the upper and lower lip to create better symmetry.

Typically Juvaderm is most often used for lip injection the soft tissue fillers.  Be certain to find an experienced injector.
