What is the difference between the Cosmelan and Dermamelan peels?

I had a consultation regarding peels recently and was recommended these treatments. I plan to request a follow up call to clear some things up. Is the difference simply that Dermamelan contains a higher concentration of the active ingredients? The Dermatologist I saw advised that the Dermamelan is a more permanent treatment. Is this due to higher concentrations reducing tyrosinase activity for longer? Thanks :)

You will peel for 2-3 weeks and then be red for another week. see our post care its very important to get the most out of the cosmelan that you do additional products, use a mainenance plan and start LED light. your melasma / pigmentation will need this peel 2-3 times a year with AERIFY between...

No you cannot use cosmelan if you are sensitive to SLS but I would suggest looking at enlighten or aerify as an alternative and using restorsea, faith, and emerageskin products. Best, Dr. Emer.
