I would like to get a Cosmelan treatment for my scars and pigmentation that hasn't been addressed by ND: YAG laser treatment. However, I have perioral dermatitis/rosacea (severely aggravated by Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), and one of the ingredients in Cosmelan is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Would this treatment aggravate my preexisting skin conditions? Has anyone had success in using Cosmelan on patients sensitive to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?
