I suffered quite a bad burn on Saturday last week and even worse I was made to sit and wait with nothing cooling it as they said I would be seen within the hr. nearly 3 hrs later (5.5hrs post burn) I was finally seen in A&E. The image shown is now 1 week post burn - there is no infection but the shooting pains from nerve ending are bad - although I assume a good sign as before I couldn’t feel some of my leg. What is recommended as the best course of action to minimise scarring?
