If I shave after a Beard Transplant will there be permanent black spots?

Transplanted scalp hair behaves like a normal beard. I'm guessing the black spots you're referring to aren't scars. Rather, they're hair shafts from grafts implanted to deep. It appears that the hair shafts grow from a hole while the skin pulls downwards around the shaft of the hair. The result is an inability to shave cleanly.

A good beard transplant doesn't leave any scars on the recipient area. We use the sapphire blade to perform the incisions during the beard transplant restoration.
