So I had a small bird tattoo (1 inch long, left inner forearm near elbow crease) done 10 years ago. I wanted to remove it and after 3 laser sessions last year, most of the ink was gone but it’s heavily scarred (raised and red). I don't wanna continue with lasers anymore as the downtime is too long. If I get scar excision/ revision, what will it realistically look like? I'm ok replacing this scar with a linear excision scar. Will it be worse than this?
