There are currently no conclusive studies available that link Botox for excessive sweating of the armpits to breast cancer. When performed by a board certified doctor, Botox is a safe and effective way to manage the condition.
Botox injection has no correlation with being a cause of breast cancer. Treating the underarm is an effective way to reduce the sweat production.
I am not aware of any studies which have shown a correlation between Botox and breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter. I would not be concerned about getting breast cancer from a Botox treatment in the underarms for sweating.
Botox is an FDA approved treatment for excessive underarm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis). There is no evidence that suggests a link between Botox and breast cancer. I've created a video that reviews treating underarm sweating with Botox. I hope this information is helpful in your research!
Botox is not known to cause breast cancer.Topical products containing aluminum chloride may be linked to breast cancer development. The highest incidence of breast cancer is in the tail of Spence, the breast tissue that extends into the axilla. It is surmised that topical products containing alum chloride over the long term are partly responsible for this. So avoiding topicals and using something else (Botox or miraDry) MAY reduce your lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
There is absolutely no evidence that Botox in the underarm could cause breast cancer, and it intuitively doesn't make sense that it would. We're not treating lymphatics with Botox in the underarm--we're treating the tiny muscles at the base of the hair follicles.
I am unaware of any scientific evidence to suggest that Botox causes cancer.Botox and MiraDry are two methods of reducing under arm sweating
I have not heard of this correlation as my colleagues above have also stated. Botox treatment under the arms is helpful for treating sweating issues.
Thank you for your question. Like my colleague has stated, I too am unaware of any study that has shown a correlation between Botox and breast cancer or any other cancer as well. I would not be concerned from getting Botox treatment underarms.Best of luck,Dr. Peter Newen

It's not very likely that she has become resistant to Botox. It is more likely that it was not injected into the proper location. Botox parayses nerves that control muscles which then become inactive. However, if loss of fat pad was due, in some way, to Botox, one would expect it to resolve in...
