Male lip lift revision - can my philtrum be shortened further? (Photos)
I recently underwent a lip lift procedure. I originally asked for a 6 or 7 millimetres reduction as my philtrum was very long, about 2.4 cm, especially in comparison to my rather small chin. However, the doctor declined and performed only 4 mm. While the shape of my lips is definitely improved, my philtrum still appears disproportionately long. I was wondering whether it would be possible to remove additional millimetres? If so, what the maximum safe reduction would be without making my upper lip appear too large? I am aware that my upper lip is already rather thick and I fear ending up with the bunny lip look. in fact I already think that the size and shape of my lips are good but the length of the philtrum just throws off the harmony of the face. I would also like to retain the ability to close my mouth after the revision. would all this be possible?
