How soon can I play tennis after FUE?

Hello, It is recommended to play tennis after 30 days post opeartion. It is a sport and makes the blood circulation high which can affect the transplanted grafts.

Since you received the FUE, you do not have to worry much about the stitches or wounds. Definitely get some good rest on the first day. But you can start playing a non-contact sport such as tennis as long as you feel comfortable and prepared. FYI, your new grafts need three days to be secured in the new area, so you need to be very careful with your grafts and gentle with your hair for the first three days after your surgery. With that in mind, try to avoid touching your hair and do not wash your hair directly under the shower. So if you decide to start playing tennis within one week of your FUE surgery, just gently pour water with a bowl or a cup if you want to clean your hair after your exercise. Definitely protect your scalp and grafts from sun exposure after the surgery, especially if you have lighter skin. We recommend you not wear the hat on day 1 when you have FUE surgery. You may wear a hat the next day of your surgery. If you want to play tennis with the hat on during the daytime, you may want to do it after the first three days of your surgery because your grafts are very fragile at that time, and your sweat and hat may hurt your grafts and scalp. Last but not least, always consult with your doctor who did the FUE for you if you have anything unsure.
