Best procedure for small chin scar? (photo)

I have an oval scar measuring 0.5 inch x 0.3 inch on my chin. It was the result of a mole removed 20 years ago as a kid. Would a scar excision or FUE be the better option? Or both? Or something else I haven't considered? Thank you

Thank you for your question. Given the location, I would probably favor excision. There are other treatments such as lasers and injections, but given how long it's been there, I doubt they'd be as efficacious. Transplant is an option, although typically the yield is lower in scar tissue. I hope that information helps, and best of luck to you.

The best option is to consult an experienced hair transplant surgeon. Depending on the scar tissue properties, you may get incredible results with an FUE procedure utilising hair from under your chin or the back of your head.
