6-months post-op - Will this crease at the top of my tummy tuck scar go away? (photos)

I had surgery almost 6 months ago. TT vertical and horizontal. In addition to a breast lift with implants. I started noticing a crease that starts at the top of my scar. Will this go away? I just started noticing it. It’s not below my breasts but in the middle of my abdomen. Right at the beginning of my TT vertical scar.

These kind of things generally settle out after surgery. I would have expected it to have gone down by the 6 month mark so there is a possibility it may not go away.

You may still have some excess skin which is causing the crease. I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon. Since it has shown up, it probably won't go away.

From your description I understand that you have a vertical and horizontal scar and that you have developed a crease at the top part of the scar, recently, now that you are six months past your tummy tuck surgery.
 
This can certainly happen after the type of tummy tuck you are describing.   The skin closure is normally nice and tight with a tummy tuck surgery, however, because the skin surrounding the scar has laxity, it will relax after the procedure.   It may relax a bit more over the next few months.

The crease will not go away on it's own.  Sometimes additional surgery to take more skin is done to enhance the original result however I advice you to wait at least another 3 - 6 months before making a decision on that to get a better idea of how everything will ultimately heal.

It appears as if you have had an extensive procedure for your tummy tuck.  Tailoring abdominoplasty skin when there is excess circumferential as well as vertical amounts of tissue can be most challenging. It is quite possible that you may benefit from an extended revision of your vertical midline excess and scar.  It is not possible (just with  photo) to tell what needs to be done to meet your expectations without a proper examination and consultation.
