I have heard conflicting views on this issue. Some doctors' offices say they have seen much better results with Coolsculpting than with Vanquish, but some testimonials I have read say Vanquish made a huge difference. I would like some additional expert opinions. Thank you!
Answer: Vanquish or coolsculpt #Vanquish vs #Coolsculpt, #UltraShape, #Suresculpt Many physicians that have purchased the CoolSculpting device have purchase the Vanquish as a treatment to enhance #non-surgicalbodycontouring results. In some cases the Vanquish has replaced it. Many doctors who have promoted #CoolSculpting , have determined that the Vanquish is a fast, safe and effective way to treat unwanted fat without downtime or complications. Some doctors use both systems or, as in our office other systems such as Ultrashape and Velashape. Vanquish can cover a large area in a short period of time per treatment and a much shorter course of treatment, – a whole abdomen, flank to flank and circumferential. It is very efficient and a course of treatment takes weeks instead of months with Coolsculpt.

Answer: Vanquish vs Coolsculpting Thank you for your question! Coolsculpting destroys fat cells by freezing. Coolsculpting requires a pocket of fat that will fit into applicator. Vanquish melts fat with radio frequency heat. The vanquish applicator covers a larger surface area such as abdomen and thighs. Both machines are equally effective. I would recommend a consult to see which would work best for you! Holly, RN

Answer: Patient selection vs science Thank you and this is the quintessential question as new therapies arrive in the marketplace. Which is better? I would say truly, it is based on your need upon examination and assessment and desires or goals. The science supports a greater a depth of fat reduction looking at cross-sectioned tissue with Vanquish by perhaps 2 times as compared to Coolsculpting. It is also the only one I believe to have had a small study of long term (4 year) maintenance- of 75% of initial fat reduction results. This is because the remaining fat cells can increase in size with behavioral and diet fluctuation. After all, we CAN eat our way out of even a “stomach stapling” invasive procedure and regain the weight. Vanquish can also treat bodies with BMI > 30 or bodybuilders with 4-6% body fat. Larger folks will see a greater percent reduction and more noticeable effect. Coolsculpting requires pinchable fat to enter the suction device but may be better when geared toward sculpting areas that are grossly disproportionate-such as love handles or a distinct concentrated areas of fat that can draw attention. For an overall reduction and slimmer silhouette, Vanquish may be superior time and $- wise as 4 areas for a full abdomen or 4 hrs of treatment will be covered in 1 45 min. Vanquish session. Best, Dr. Jeff

Answer: Vanquish Vs. Coolsculpt Many of my patients like the results they have obtained from Vanquish. Vanquish has less down time, and is not uncomfortable. Coolsculpting can cause side effects such as bruising, swelling, or numbness. Coolsculpting can also feel unpleasant. The end results may be similar. Each patient may see more results than the other on either device. Many patients come to my practice for Vanquish because ultimately it is a more comfortable treatment that does provide results.

Answer: Combination treatment is best for fat loss Hello there! Your ideal treatment depends on the type of fat you have. Generally, CoolSculpting is best for larger, soft areas of "pinchable" fat. Vanquish is best for thinner people who do not have pinchable fat, or have hard fat. At our office, we combine multiple treatments to achieve your ideal aesthetic result - from cold (CoolSculpting) to heat (Vanquish, UltraShape), to physical pummeling (Z Waves) among several other treatment options.
