I had hernia repair in 1987. A surgical mesh was used. Does this preclude me from having vanquish?

I don't think vanquish works.  I would consider an alternative non surgical options such as Velashape/Ultrashape or Liposonix, Coolsculpting possibly or microliposuction which can give excellent results with very little downtime and something I specialize in.  Best, Dr. Emer.
