We have had this question before and my recommendation is always not to do the Vanquish if the surgical mesh has any possibility of metal. I don't think vanquish works. I would consider an alternative non surgical options such as Velashape/Ultrashape or Liposonix, Coolsculpting possibly or microliposuction which can give excellent results with very little downtime and something I specialize in. Best, Dr. Emer.
