Donor hair 88 vs 89, how can I confirm that the proper hairs were used?

It's difficult to know exactly what was being referred to but I'm going to assume it was the SIZE of the "spear point" scalpel that we use to make the graft sites on your scalp (SP88 is 1mm, SP89 is 1.25mm) For what it's worth, if there was a mix up and the surgeon used the "wrong" one, it would literally have ZERO impact on the outcome of your transplant. The difference (as you can see above) is .25mm and the main reason to use the larger SP on the top of the head is that the grafts in the front of the hairline are usually finer (1 or 2 hairs) while larger grafts are used further in (1, 2,3 or 4+) So the main issue with using the "wrong" SP would be that whoever is placing the grafts might find them more time consuming to place, depending on which way the switch occurred.
