I’ve had 2 sessions of CO2re laser and 2 sessions of hyfrecation on syringomas underneath the eyes and feel that they are only minimally improved. Usually for larger or dealer lesions, what is the maximum number of treatments needed to fully flatten them??

Yes, this can happen with CO2 lasers - in fact when I am treating acne scars, I warn patients of this, as it is an EXPECTED outcome - depending on the power of the laser, the density and passes. Also the skin type of the patient comes in to play. This will fade in time, your specialist will know...

All CO2 lasers are not the same. even with the same laser you will have different results when performed by different doctors. I have been working with my CO2 lasers ( I have 4 of them) for more than 8 yrs. I have not had a problem in any of my patients (not yet). my advise would be to seek ...
