Dear dmarie_12,I always tell my patients your breasts will be sisters not twins. They can heal at different rates and "drop" at different times. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MSCertified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Thank you for your question. You can use your steri-strips for 4-6 weeks, but i would recommend to follow your surgeon instructions. I hope my answer will help you to your question. Before undergoing any surgical procedure, please seek a board certified plastic surgeon

It looks like the wound may have some devitalized, nonviable tissue which may be impeding the healing process. Discussed with your surgeon whether or not they might perform curettage, which is a gentle scraping of the wound to stimulate it and remove this roadblock.Best of luck! Dr. ...
It's difficult to receive good advice based on only a single photo of yourself but I would recommend for a similar patient in my office a subpectoral silicone implant (cohesive) and a type of mastopexy determined by your size goals and physical anatomy. This might be a full mastopexy, a ...
Considering your size and amount of sag the best result would be a lift with implants. Avoiding the lollipop and anchor scars leaves us with no good option for a lift and if you want to avoid those scars, better to do just implants alone and wait to see if you want the scars later. Again,...
