Hello,Thank you for the photos. The thread lift procedure will definitely help in your case. For best results it can be combined with platysmal bands Botox injections.Good luck,Oxana Popescu MD
Hello suezzq,I would recommend visiting with a professionally skilled cosmetic surgeon in your area to discuss your treatment options. This way, you can discuss your ultimate aesthetic goals with the surgeon for the best recommendation. However, from the pictures provided, it doesn't look like the issue is sagging-skin related, which would be the best reason to receive a thread lift. Best of luck.
From looking at your pictures I do not think a thread lift would be the primary procedure. The two prominent bands near the front of your throat should be addressed with Botox or Dysport as they appear to be two fibromuscular bands. Your skin could be tightened with Ulthera Ultrasound or ThermiSmooth Radiofrequency. A threadlift could tighten the area just under your jawline. An actual neck lift would give you the most dramatic results.
Yes a thread lift on your neck may help to bob you along till a more formal lift is indicated. Remember however that threads only without skin incision normally last a short time only eg twelve months.
Hello stinadoll, At 19 years old, I would not recommend that you undergo a thread lift. Thread lift is primarily meant to address sagging skin, which you currently do not have. I would recommend sticking with dermal fillers at the moment. Best of luck!
Hello, and thank you for your question. Dimpling and puckering can occur right after a thread lift. I would recommend waiting about a week before you make judgments about the results. If, after a week, you are still concerned, I would speak with your doctor. Best of luck.
Hello, and thank you for your question. Swelling can last for a couple of weeks, so I would recommend waiting a while and then reassessing. Fillers can be dissolved if you are unhappy with the appearance of your nose, and threads will eventually dissolve. Best of luck.
Hello, and thank you for your question. It looks as if these bumps may be caused by poor technique. These threads can be released easily during a simple procedure. However, they may also resolve on their own. I would speak with your surgeon regarding possible solutions. Best of luck.
Hello youngatheart888, It is generally recommended that patients who require dental work following their thread lift wait at least two weeks. However, I would discuss this with the surgeon who performed the procedure to ensure your results are long-lasting. Best of luck.
If your thread is poking at the skin or through the skin it should be able to be removed simply by pulling it back out of the skin. I don't recommend you try this yourself, but have your physician attempt to remove the thread manually. Applying heat to the thread will also soften it...
