The reasons for this are multifold, the biggest ones being that facelift releases facial ligaments and repositions tissue, lifts the deeper layers of the face like the SMAS (not just the skin), tightens the platysma, and is combined with fat grafting to restore volume which is a huge part of facial aging. The closest I have seen from a skin tightening device is the combination of Facetite and Morpheus8 with submental liposuction, and adding either fat graft or fillers to restore lost volume.

However, in general the use of robust HA fillers can achieve a "liquid facelift" by improving cheek shape and projection (creating a more heart-shaped face), lessening smile lines and marionette lines, and straightening and defining the jawline to diminish jowls. And, in experienced hands, this can be accomplished WITH IMMEDIATE RESULTS and little to no significant downtime in a matter of 20-30 minutes. There is little surprise that you report only at best subtle results from ultrasound and RF device treatments. I have been cautioning my readers for years already that these relatively expensive supposedly "next big thiing" devices are fads that while marketed and promoted heavily have woefully little hard science to back up their claims.
