I still have a turkey neck after chin Smart Lipo. Any suggestions?

Smartlipo or even Precision Tx cannot tighten a turkey neck, that is just too much laxity to expect a non-surgical procedure to correct. The situation on the abdomen may not be comparable, as there is no turkey neck of the abdomen, but if the concern is loose skin on the tummy, it is important that you be evaluated by your plastic surgeon to see if your expectations for fat removal can be met even if there is skin looseness. This means that you are being evaluated as a candidate for liposuction alone or with a tummy tuck.Naturally patients would like to remove fat and see the skin tighten up, but it is a matter of degree. In general, except in younger patients with excellent skin tone, removal of fat will result in a loosening of the skin. If retraction against the underlying structure, whether it is abdomen or neck does not look good, there may be just too much looseness to give a pleasing result.  All the devices marketed for skin tightening work to some extent, but give a mild skin tightening at best, compared with surgical tightening.

Typical results from smart lipo take 3-6 months to appreciate, sometimes longer.  However, if you want more results you may need something stronger like other energy based procedures or surgery.  Botox at this time would help combined with venus legacy treatments.  Best, Dr. Emer.
