Is there a temporary fix to treat my front tooth that lost a porcelain veneer?

My laminate (porcelain veneer on the 3rd front to the right, been 4 years) fell off and lost. It doesn't really hurt but mildly aches when contacting cold foods or wind. My dentist is outside of USA so I wanna get a temporary treatment before visiting him after 6 months due to current financial situation. I looked up TempTooth, InstaMorph and Zinc Oxide Eugenol Cement but not sure about them. Is it best to get bonding by a dentist? How long can it last? Does it stay well even when eating?

Hi:Unfortunately, the only real temporary solution that can last 6 months will be bonding until it is replaced with porcelain.Best,Dr. Maddahi

Cosmetic bonding would be a good, relatively inexpensive solution to temporarize you tooth for 6 months until you can get the porcelain veneer replaced.  It probably will not be a perfect match with the rest of your veneers, but a close match should be possible.  You will need to be careful with it as it will not be as durable or stain resistant as porcelain.
