In general, people have very little if any fat in their noses. Sometimes, when people have thick oily nasal tip skin, we can see a small fat pad involving the nasal tip. If this is causing difficulty achieving a narrowed nasal tip appearance, sometimes we trim this judiciously. Unfortunately, there is no non-surgical approach for this technique that I am aware of. Thank you for this question, and I hope it's helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hello and thank you for your question. Although it is hard to tell without photos or an in-person consultation, you may be a candidate for a non-surgical nose job. In most cases we use fillers (such as Juvederm, Radiesse, or Restylane) to create a more symmetric look. Those with bulbous noses can often times benefit from having steroid and 5-fluorouracil injections in the tip of the nose to help shrink down the tissue. I suggest seeing an experienced injector who specializes in non-surgical nose treatments to evaluate your case and give you the proper direction. Best of luck!
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. However, it won't make the nose appear smaller. Surgery would be needed to improve the nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi,Thank you so much for the question, Do you have any photos that could be helpful? The non surgical nose job won't remove fat from the nose but can in some cases, can create the illusion of a slimmer nose. I recommend researching a cosmetic physician in your area and scheduling a consultation to see if you are a candidate!Best of luck!
Hi, Thank you for the photos, I am happy to help! From viewing your photos your nose is already very good nose but the non-surgical nose job can make it more defined and balanced! I recommend contacting a cosmetic physician in your area for a consultation!
Hi gmerzer, There is no contraindication of getting fillers before you start roaccutane. Isotretinoin is not a contraindication to dermal fillers, however surgical procedures and skin resurfacing procedures such as chemical peels or laser resurfacing are a big issue. Just...
Sometimes a widened nasal appearance may be due to swelling from the procedure itself. I believe nearly all swelling from an injectable filler procedure is dissipated within 14 days after the treatment. If you have concerns about your nasal appearance two weeks after your treatment, you should...
