I asked for a bubble butt but instead I got a wide but with no projection is there any particular reason why this is? I just got my bbl two days ago and it is just really wide with a no projection my butt is wide and so is my hips but like I stated above there is no projection is there anyway that as the months go along I will end up getting a nice round butt with projection?
Answer: No projection two days post-op BBL Two days after surgery is too early to predict final results. I have observed that between 4 and 6 weeks the buttocks tend to stabilize in volume. Usually by 3 months, the swelling is minimal and totally resolved by 6 months. About 50% of the fat that is transferred lives and becomes a part of you. Answer: I have no projection after my BBL, is it possible this will change and I will end up with a round butt with projection? Thank you for your pictures and questions. If you have concerns with your results, you need to discuss those with your surgeon. If you are not happy with the results now, it is not likely that additional time will help. Try to be patient as things proceed.Good luck!

Answer: Shape after BBL Dear ChannieBaby,I understand that you are worried about the shape of your buttocks. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur and swelling to resolve. If after 4-6 weeks, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your buttocks, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Realistic Brazilian Butt Lift Expectations Too early for any critique. Your buttocks will continue to decrease in volume as the swelling reduces and as fat absorption takes place. Having said that, if you're starting out with a lack of projection, it's not going to suddenly appear.Having said the above, without your "before" photos, it's impossible to evaluate the difference in appearance. You should evaluate your before and after photos before making any assessments. But as mentioned before, assessment should be reserved for months down the road when swelling and fat absorption has stabilized. If the "bubble butt" that you were going for was one of those airbrushed, photoshopped, filtered photos that you found on Instagram, it is not a surprise that you are disappointed. Having realistic expectations is crucial when getting plastic surgery.

Answer: BBL PROJECTION Hi ChannieBaby, It is hard for me to fully answer your question since I didnt perform your surgery neither examined you before or after. In my experience It coul take about 6 months to reduce the swelling and the patient could see the final look. Talk with your surgeon and ask him to show you the preop pictures in order to understand better the fat transfer points, maybe It would give you a better perspective about the actual situation. Best of luck,
