Great question! Current orthodontic treatment methods tend to lean toward the non-extraction route. However, this can result in bi-maxillary protrusion, where the upper and lower teeth have a "flared" appearance. This is corrected by extracting the upper and lower first premolars, followed by careful space closure to retract and upright the anterior teeth. Without full diagnostic records, it is difficult to how much correction is needed or even possible orthodontically. Some people prefer a "fuller" profile. Retraction of your upper and lower anterior teeth will definitely decrease the prominence of the upper and lower lips for a flatter profile. However, the "length" of your face should not change.  I think that your best option would be orthodonticswith bicuspid extractions as well as a chin reduction  Genioplasty.   This will take care of the bimaxillary protrusion as well as the strong chin   With a reduction genioplasty, your lower jaw will be softened  aesthetically.  Thank you very much for the question. HelloThanks for  your question , in most cases bi max protrusion is treated by extracting teeth , but also there are many different considerations like occlusion ethnic background etc that can be acceptable to be bimax.If teeth are extracted the profile will flatten but some but is impossible to predict the exact results, if you are doing this just for facial cosmetics you might not be a good candidate because your expectations might not be met.Best of luck!

In order to achieve the profile that you like in the photo you have posted, it will be necessary to retract your upper and lower anterior teeth. In order to do this, the most likely option would be to extract a pair of bicuspids from your upper and lower jaws. If handled properly, orthodontic treatment should not elongate your face.
