Thanks for your question. Daxxify can certainly be used for TMJ, as can all brands of 'botox' technically. The important thing when switching from one brand to another is for the dose to be appropriate for the target muscle. Dose is chosen based on the brand, the size and activity of the muscle, and past experience with particular doses. There is always a dose 'range' per area and within that you need to pick a starting dose and then adjust according to that patient's subsequent experience with that dose of that brand- how well did it work?
