Would anyone revise a 0.5-inch circular atrophic scar in the middle of someone’s forehead with running mattress sutures? In the past, I got spitting sutures with PDS and, if possible, don’t want to use buried sutures. Some surgeons are saying that buried sutures are necessary for tension removal in this area; others are saying that they aren’t necessary. Long story short: I have autoimmune conditions that impact wound healing and reactivity to sutures. Lasers and filler haven't worked.
