Hi What is the best non surgical next step to help correct my facial asymmetry? I got 15 units botox on my right jaw two months ago, and another 10 units a month ago. The muscle itself is stronger than the left side, but isn’t especially strong anymore ( have been treating with Botox for over five years). I still have on and off very bad jaw pain on the right side, but I think it now looks like it might be over treated from the Botox, and I just got filler on the left side to help square that

Botox to the masseter muscles helps to minimize the appearance of this area, leading to a slimming effect of the jawline. The treatment is done in the office with final results seen after two weeks. The product wears off gradually over approximately three to four months.
It is recommended that you do not have Botox while pregnant or breastfeeding. There are not sufficient studies to prove its safety, therefore it is better to err on the side of caution and wait.
It's better to wait until you have completed your antibiotic course and are feeling better before proceeding with your Botox treatment. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your injector.
