Volume and contouring of the face and temples can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results and recommendations. Best, Dr. Emer
Dear Patient: I would recommend you set up several consultations with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who are FACS and members of ASPS and ASAPS to make sure you are in the safest hands. I could also suggest you can be a good candidate for facial fillers like Restylane Define/ Sculptra and Refine as well. Good luck Ron Soltero MD, FACSBoard Certified Plastic SurgeonMember ASAPSMember ASPSFellow FACS
Your entire right side of your face sits lower than your left side. This is the result of a developmental facial asymmetry and is the result of both the position the underlying bone and the overlying soft tissues. In treating facial asymmetry there are procedures for every level of your facial asymmetry, it just depends how much you want to do to make the changes.
Hi and welcome to our forum! It is difficult to diagnose via 2 photographs! Facial asymmetry can be present from birth, or acquired. If this fullness is of recent onset, the cause must be investigated. Is it bone? is it fat? Is it a soft tissue growth of some kind? Examination is needed.Once it determined to be a benign condition, one may consider injectable fillers (short term) or a facial implant (long term) to correct the problem.Seek evaluation from a board certified plastic surgeon.Best wishes...
