Is it safe to have a microdermabrasion with a chemical peel on the same day?

A doctor vs. A spa.. .. are there woman educated enough in a spa to do these procedures or should I cancel and go through a Dr.. what about the cost of these two combined.. hope you can help..

There are low percentage chemical peels that work excellent in combination with a microdermabrasion.  The skin care specialist will decide which chemical peel will be best for your skin.

Yes. There are low to medium strength peels that are appropriate to do after a microdermabrasion depending on the person's skin type and needs. It actually preps the skin to possibly achieve better results from the peel.

There are different types of chemical peels, some that can be safely combined with other treatments and others that require to be performed solely. A Glycolic peel for example can be safely used during a Microdermabrasion treatment. Please contact your nearest Dermatologist for Assistance.
