I had IPL 5 days ago and my skin has gone crazy. Should I go to my dermatologist? I had ipl 5 days ago and my skin has red blotches, stings, itches and a few tiny white pimples. I did the ipl for rosacea that was diagnosed by my dermatologist. Does my face have some kind of infection? Was I allergic to the gel? Should I go back to my dermatologist who did not do the procedure. Was using a sulphur face wash prescribed by my dr before ipl. Stopped 5 days before. Not sure what I should do.

Hi Charming6566,
Thank you for your inquiry. We do recommend that you wait until you doctor clears you for working out. If you do cause irritation post IPL you can have PID (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation). The recommended wait time is 2 weeks.
