Fraxel Restore for deeper hand wrinkles. How many passes & what settings are needed for optimal results?

You don’t have to figure out ahead of time what settings should be used when getting Fraxel on your hands. You’re paying your dermatologist for their expertise and ability to make these decisions from knowledge and skill. He or she will choose settings based on how fair or dark your skin is as well as by the extent of your lesions and quality of your skin. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist whom you trust so that you can feel confident you’re getting the best treatment possible. 

I suggest you leave the settings and parameters to your physician.  I suggest speaking to your physician about your ultimate goal as this should be combined with microneewlign and PRP, sometimes fillers are also needed.  I prep the skin for weeks before the laser treatment to ensure the best outcome.  Dr. Emer.

In all cases your Dermatologist or Plastics will dial in the setting based upon your skin type. Some patients may need more passes with the 1550, some the 1927 and in others the CO2 RePair.
